Mysore & Ghee Roast Dosa
A South Indian classic — bold, buttery, and unforgettable
Crispy dosa brushed with Mysore chutney paste and ghee, a South Indian classic
The Mysore & Ghee Roast Dosa is a celebration of South Indian tradition. Our rice and lentil batter is fermented overnight and spread thin on a seasoned iron griddle, then brushed generously with our house-made Mysore chutney — a robust blend of roasted chillies, garlic, and urad dal — before being finished with a ladle of pure clarified butter. The result is a crispy, burnished crepe with a deeply savoury, lightly spicy edge that keeps guests coming back. Served with house-made sambar and fresh coconut chutney on the side.
Key Ingredients
- Fermented rice and urad dal batter
- House-made Mysore chutney (dried red chilli, garlic, urad dal)
- Pure clarified butter (ghee)
- Sambar (lentil vegetable broth)
- Fresh coconut chutney
How We Make It
Overnight Fermentation
Our batter ferments for 12–18 hours, developing a natural tang and making the dosa light and easy to digest.
House-Made Mysore Chutney
We grind our Mysore chutney fresh, roasting dried red chillies and garlic to build deep, smoky flavour.
Iron Griddle Finish
Each dosa is cooked on a seasoned cast-iron tawa at high heat for maximum crispness and an even golden colour.
